How to remove/uninstall/delete Delta-homes.com

It’s been two days since an un-invited rogue intruder started dwelling in my computer! Yea, delta-homes.com! It actually camouflaged its way into my laptop. Now, it’s at the homepage of all of my browsers; Internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Like a shabby gate keeper with an ugly face looking for money from every passerby.

FYI, Delta-homes.com borrows Google’s search engine app to generate revenue for themselves. In other words, anyone can incorporate Google search engine code into their own personal websites. When random users to your website search using your customized mini Google you get money!

Because Delta-homes.com forces everyone to use their service it is deceiving, swindling or cheating of a sort. If I like coffee I drink coffee and if you like tea you drink tea; as simple as that. Why force?

At first I thought of taking it off instantly by checking into browser settings > change the homepage url and bingo! But I was astonished. That doesn’t work!

I googled for a solution and found plenty. But beware, there are hyenas waiting for a catch i.e., there are a lot of other malwares or applications claiming to remove Delta-homes.com once they are downloaded! Who knows, you might cause more harm than good.

Finally I managed to remove Delta-homes.com by following these steps:

STEP1: Unpin/remove all browser icons (Internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Opera) from your task bar.

STEP2: Delete browser icons from your desktop.

STEP3: Once browser icons are deleted/removed from your desktop and your taskbar visit MY COMPUTERS > C:\Program Files. Ones you are in the ‘Program files’ folder >

Get into Internet Explore file > right click on the icon ‘iexplorer’ > Send to > Desktop(Create shortcut)

Get into Mozilla Firefox > right click on the icon ‘firefox’ > Send to > Desktop(Create shortcut)

Get into Opera > right click on the icon ‘Launcher’ > Send to > Desktop(Create shortcut)

STEP4: After you are done with step3 you will see the browser icons back on your desktop. Right click on each of them and select ‘Pin to taskbar’

Here we go! Now double click on your desktop icon or single click on your taskbar icon and enjoy browsing. Good bye Delta-homes.com
